Oh Hilla I Miss You (free association part 3)

In 2002, I graduated from medical college, and was waiting the time I satrt working in the city I live in, Baghdad, but I was shocked to know that I can not work in Baghdad because I don't have enough marks to do so...So I must go to another governerate, I thought about Baquba, were my aunt lives, but to my surprise, they said I cannot work there eather with my marks...my marks was average, what is wrong, anyway I asked the man sitting next to me, what is the best close city to baghdad left to me, he said AL HILLA, and I took that...
In al hilla I learned to be really a man...before that I was dependent on my parents to live...at first i disliked that city, but after 6 months, I was in love with it, and refused to go back to Baghdad when the opportunity came to me...after 2 years I travelled outside Iraq in an attempt to leave my country forgood, when I was abroad, i missed al hilla too much...I went back to Iraq after 4 months and back to hilla this time again....this time i was walking the streets of this city while i feel totally relaxed and trustful that this is what i want...i want to walk in al hilla streets...and sit on the side of its great river THE EUPHRATES...one of the 4 rivers of heaven as the old tastament says..

al hilla is the city where Babylon was......i hope piece will come back to my country and i can travel inside it freely and revisit that dear city....

Halo dear Dr. Sami

Thank you for nice words about my country and my lovely city Al Hill, I am an Iraqi from Al Hill, I was born near Merjan hospital, in albu shatti, the village behind silo of Al Hilla, lie beside the road Hilla- Baghdad, When I was kid , we almost went to swim in the Al Hilla river behind of merjan hospital, their has been a great time, I left my city Al Hilla in 1981, I was 19-20 years old, I studied in Poland at medical college , and after that I leaved their and get married with may love Isabella and we got 4 beautiful girls, I came to Sweden and specialized in gynaecology and obstetrician, which work now at a large county hospital in south of Sweden..
I miss Al Hilla, I have been only 2 times during 26 yaers, I cry when I hear some body talk about Al Hilla. I will so much go their, walk in the street which I don’t know longer, I will go and swim in Al Hilla River, go to suq al musaqqaf, aljandol cafeteria beside the (new bridge), walk at alkornish between the tow bridges. My dream is return to Al Hilla, and open a very modern maternity hospital with gynaecological and obstetrician care, make Iraqi woman happy, lives like other women in the modern west, no more cry, killing, wars, I will work hard to make a modern country , live in welfare society, but they still like dream only dream.
Thank you, they call me, I must go to operation.
keep a god work

Dr. Tahir Alrubasie, am proud that you read my blog, and very happy you like it and wrote to me these nice words...albu shatti (i was including it with WARDIEYA area not knowing the borders between) is an area where one nice lady working in the hospital lives...and i was really interested in knowing her more and more...she was very simple...very direct...and very nice and wonderfull....I actually was always wondering about how can life be there....am a very simple person...if you know DIOGENE (a philosophist who thinks that possessions are chains so it is better to live not owing much money nor any extra thing than the basic things)..i think what he said is really true...but am not DIOGENIC like he wants (wanted) people to be...i think that we should appritiat simplicity and put things in there real values....and believe me Dear Dr. Tahir..my dream is just to be a simple citezen of a simple village..but...i think I would change the village many times to have more experiences...I don't know...but what am sure of now..is that my eyes now are tearfull for the miss of SHAT IL HILLA..and all the piecfullnes and simplicity people got there...i think HAROOT and MAROOT (of Babylon) made their magic on me and made me like a camel just carring all the patience over my back waiting till I someday have the opportunity to vist al hilla and drink from its majical river of heaven....

Sorry Dr. Tahir I omitted some names you mentioned at the last of your message...i just don't want to go political....

I hope you keep in touch...thank you for your care...
