attachment to place

After the morning work I usually don't go anywhere but my place in the doctors house, a room, shared with 3 other doctors, but they don't stay in it usually after 4 p.m., and a collidor where there is a TV, and a bath...I usually get connected to places, sometimes love places more than people I think....there is a theory called ATTACHMENT theory talking about the importance of the special relation between the care giver (usually the mother) and the child, for the child's development and well being....I think attachemtn also occur to places....since the last 6 months I live here...and am attached to it...well..not so strong...just some simple attachment...the place am really missing now is the home i grew in it....it is in Baghdad...i hope i can visit it soon...

Hi Dr. Sami,
I hope you can visit it soon too...it is all so sad...

Today I will get a lecture from mother-in law and silence from husband (both deserved) for drinking too much wine last night...but not until after work...what place am I attached to...? maybe right here, on your blog, where I feel I can speak freely and not be so judged as I am everywhere else, aloud or in silence...thank you, Dr.

Sincerely, tracy

Dear Dr. Sami,
O-Kay, my turn to free associate...my mother-in-law is up now...ooooohhhhh noooooo, does that mean I get the lecture early and over with or do I get it several times today...??? I know I deserve it, not doubt I am guilty as charged, but still.....#$%@....On a better front, the new work pants I asked for are too big, yesssssss!!!!! must get the next smaller size, I think....boy, if only all the world had problems as small as mine, wouldn't life be grand?? tracy

Dear Dr. Sami,
Thank you for voicing your concern in a most kind way, I do appreciate it and will listen to what you have to say because you are not mean about it or accusing. However, in my husband's and MIL's defense, you have not had to live with me for the several "events" that lead up to the "stiches and (sometimes) staples", nor had to clean up both the emo and literal (blood) mess I leave behind and the emo mess I bring back. (yes, feel free to publish this, only if you want).
Thanks again
