Damascus...



Damascus is one of the first cities in the world, some say that it is the first, but as an iraqi I have heard that Ur, was the first...anyway....archeologist say that it was inhabitant by 10 000 BC.....

It got a very nice mixture of traditions....look at these traditional shops....

    Wow...just amazing, beautiful photos, Dr. Al Bedri, it is hard for me to even imagine that you are actually in the acient city of Damascus...it is like a fantasy world to me, like i can hardly believe, sitting here in Virginia, that such a place actually exists. thank you for bringing it in to reality for me. looking at the land and the buildings and the shops with their various exotic wares...it is a real treat...many thanks.

    i hope you are feeling a bit better and that you know i mean it when i say, i feel that you truly are a friend and i know you better than most anyone i have known in "real life". be good to you because i care about you.
